Legomom
Or somewhere else? It would be convenient to have it done at Walmart but I am concerned about the quality. Anyone have any comments or experience? Thanks!
Tap
If you are buying a brand name....they are the same as anywhere else that sells the exact same tire. I have used Costco several times and have always been pleased. We also have had great luck at Les Schwab (sp?).
specialmama
I second Costco.
Janet in WA
Karen, do consider Les Schwab. They really do deserve their good reputation here in WA. The only reason we didn't get our last tires there was that they didn't have the size we needed for one of our cars.
Angela in GA
We have decided to always get our tires from Walmart from now on. If we have issues with a warranty, like we did our last set of tires, atleast there is a Walmart in nearly every town. lol.
Crissy
Another Les Schwab fan here. Their service is excellent.
eight_gregorys
I have had great results with Pep Boys. We had to replace the brand name tires on our two year old car that has only 35,000 miles on it and had all the recommended services done. I've read numerous reviews about the tires that come on newer Saturn SUVs and they are crap....brand name or not. My dad is a mechanic and told me that he's had the best service, prices, and tire quality at Pep Boys. I agree. They were really fast and very friendly. Plus, if you buy 3 tires you get the fourth one free (by rebate....I got the rebate in four weeks). I called Wal-mart, Costco, and Sam's on none could beat the price after the rebate. Mommyof4ks
The tires may very well be the same, but the tires at Discount tire last me sooooo much longer than Wal-mart. I don't know why, but I have to get my tires changed every 2 years at Wal-mart, but only every 4 at Discount.
MomtoCandJ
i had Wal-mart put Uniroyal tires on my '02 Ford Taurus last year and have not had a problem, i also paid a little extra for the life time balancing and rotation
