jenadina
I planned to make picadillo and rice, but now I'm thinking just how many years it has been since I've had a sloppy joe. My 6yo has never had one, and I don't think hubby has, either. I've never made them, though...
i.love.lucy
Mac-n-chz (homemade) and fruit salad. DD is having a sleepover guest who is picky. This was the best I could do with her limitations. :glare: Tomorrow, crock pot Pot Roast!

Happy
I'm on strike tonight in rebellion from the ungrateful creatures that live under this roof. I plan to have hummus and crackers. I do not care what any one else has. Can you tell it's been a very bad day? (and don't worry that anyone will starve. My ungrateful creatures are all old enough to drive.) Rosie_0801
We had citrus marinated tempeh and salad for dinner. It was great!! Best dinner we've had in ages, actually, and the best way we've cooked tempeh. Not that I plan to renounce all other tempeh recipes, or anything so drastic, but it's a recipe we could serve to company. :) Rosie

KarenNC
We had grilled chicken breast topped with a mushroom cream sauce (mushrooms sauteed in olive oil, splash of white wine, some cream, minced garlic, salt and pepper---let cook down on low heat to thicken), a pecan and garlic whole grain/brown rice mix from a box and a salad of fresh tomatoes and basil with balsamic vinegar with a little provolone. Audrey
Well, checking back in... supper was not what I expected. Dh made some spaghetti, then grilled some zucchini, tomatoes and green beans (I didn't know you could grill a green bean!) then threw the grilled veggies into the spaghetti with some olive oil and some basil out of my herb garden. There was some fresh garlic in there, too. Holy-moley that was awesome supper!
