aggieamy
My MIL wants to get me a food processor as a gift. Any suggestions on brand or size? What do you love or hate about yours? I do a lot of cooking and enjoy it. This is something that I would probably use a lot for stuff like pie crusts, sauces, hummus, lots of things so I want to get one that is heavy duty. TIA! OnTheBrink
I have had a Cuisinart and now currently use a Kitchenaid. I like the Kitchenaid one a bit better, I just thought it was easier to use and clean and it came with a storage box for the parts. Mine is an 11 cup bowl with a smaller 3 cup (I think) bowl. Either one, though, is a good brand.
DarlaS
I love my Kitchenaid! I use it for pizza crust recipe mostly, but it has several blades and even shreds cheese nicely (no small feat as cheese can be sticky). Since buying it I've added a Kitchenaid blender as well. It's awesome even for green smoothies.
BikeBookBread
I adore my KitchenAid - got on Amazon and it came with 3 different-sized bowls, a storage box for the included blades, an egg whip and a juicer. It's a 12 cup.

krisp
I have the 11 cup Kitchen Aid. Got it as a wedding gift almost 12 years ago and it still runs like a charm! It makes the best pie dough, even better than I've made in my Bosch.

Jules
Those of you that have Cuisanart Food Processor...can you give the model numbers. There are so many listed on Amazon. Thanks.
Carol in Cal.
...I also lust after the new one that they developed with Williams-Sonoma, the one with the three bowls. Wow, it solves all the nitpicky little issues with my old one. Want it so bad. So impractical to buy a new one, but drat, I really want it.
