There are also Disney Fairies books - they have both chapter books and picture books.

The Rainbow Magic books have tons of different series that all seem to be about 7 books each.

Not fairies, but the Magic Treehouse books are "magical" and fun.

Try doing a library search under the "children's subject" of fantasy 9or fairies)

OMG, she has to get The Girls Book of Flower Fairies-- it's a classic! Filled with lots of activities, crafts, stories, and beautiful illustrations. My DD (who still at 10 loves Fairies)-- also likes the book Fairy Houses mentioned by PiP. It's part of a series. She and her friends can spend hours creating little fairy homes!

Have you tried the older ones? Andrew Lang's fairy books? The blue fairy, red fairy book, etc. They have the classic stories of Snow White & Rose Read and other common fairy tales in their original versions. They are different from Disney (often darker) but kids generally love them!
