Luanne
Does anyone have someone they kind of stay accountable to regarding their own education? In other words, would it help me stay on track more if I had someone to at least talk to about what I am doing and what I want to accomplish? Beth in Central TX
Personally, I think a mentor is good to have in any aspect of your life where you've set a goal to achieve or where you need the accountability (or both). I meet with another homeschool mom once a month for fellowship and homeschool encouragement. My husband and I have mapped out self-education goals, and we try to keep each other on track at home. Laura
You could start a book club to help with accountability or you could look into Wes Calihan's Great Books tutorial for adults or tutors. I don't have all the details but he is a great teacher and having to be in class would certainly keep you on track! Good luck.
