imeverywoman
...science related materials which offer concise concept based information. Any thoughts on such sources for physical science, biology, chemistry? I'm thinking along the lines of journals, etc., which will not offer experiments, but rather, explore the concepts in a logical, sequential, concise approach. Thanks for listening to the rambling thoughts....

MamaSheep
For what age group? Maybe a science encyclopedia, like the ones from Kingfisher or DK?
EKS
Have you looked at the Conceptual Physics/Chemistry/Physical Science/Integrated Science texts? They're sold by Prentice Hall and you don't need to do experiments with them if you don't want to.

imeverywoman
I was passing this info onto a friend who is not on this board. She found her solution with a science encyclopedia. Thanks, again!
MamaSheep
For what age group? Maybe a science encyclopedia, like the ones from Kingfisher or DK? Shoot, I just realized this was on the high school forum...sigh...that's what I get for hitting New Posts and then not paying attention to where the posts are coming from. These science encyclopedias would probably not be adequate for high school level learning.
