My husband then says if it were him he would want a MAC. I had never even thought about it before having always had a PC. Plus I never dreamed he would want to spend that much! WTMCassandra Posted July 8, 2009 Share Posted July 8, 2009 I find that the hardware quality is higher in a Mac and they last longer, which helps compensate a bit for the price. I find that MacConnection consistently has the lowest prices, even lower than the educator's discount. We've been a Mac family since 1985 when my DH-to-be bought his first Mac before we were engaged. We are cheapskates in many other areas but this is an area we will not skimp in. We never go out to eat, but we have four Macs and wireless internet! I would never consider buying a PC. Seriously.
