Laura Corin
I am planning on using the Shakespeare Comedies and Early/Mid 19th Century British Lit for Calvin over two years. He reads Shakespeare for fun, so I'm not worried about his ability. Are the courses good? Any problems? We did LL7 and found it good but fairly light. Thank you Laura

Thank you Laura I bought one of the American lit ones for my 8th grader to use this yr and I am less than impressed. Cliffnotes for the accompanying books would be more thorough analysis. :tongue_smilie:

Do you know of anything else that does that? Thanks Laura

Thanks Laura Check out The Center for Learning. They have study guides for just about everything! They are targeted to classroom use but can be used individually if you are willing to discuss/participate. I own the British Literature guide and the Economics supplement. I plan to order more study guides for next year. I noticed that first- time orders receive a discount. http://www.centerforlearning.org/default.aspx Susan
Laura Corin
Those look interesting. They say they are values-based: do they subscribe to a particular religious view? Is it heavily present in the lessons? Are there samples anywhere that I can see? Thank you Laura

Most item description pages have a tab that shows the "values" they address- such as "loyalty", "integrity" etc. Susan
