Gretchen in NO. CA
I am looking for a literature program for our co-op. This year we have a 7-12 grade class and we are using Total Language Plus. This has worked out fine but not perfect. So now I am looking at other options for next year. Have any of you used Smarr in a co-op? What we liked about TLP was that it had daily assignments for the kids to do at home and it wasn't too much work for the teacher. Would Smarr still mean these same requirements? TLP didn't have any literature analysis so we added that ( maybe it does in the higher books but we did more jr. high books) Thank you for any info anyone has. Gretchen in NO. Kelli in TN
I have not used it in a co-op setting, but I think it would work well for that. I used it in a home setting for two years.
Susie-Knits
...in the Smarr teacher's packet which are broken into weekly and daily assignments - total of 35 weeks. To make it work for a coop, you would have to decide what would be done at the co-op and stick it in. I think you could work it out with minimal work.
