steppingstonemomma
TOG recommends Robin Hood by Neil Philip, but I have one on my shelf by Pyle. Why are there different authors? And can I use the one I have?
katilac
The story of Robin Hood dates to the Middle Ages; the character and story are folklore and there are many different versions written by many different authors (both in modern times and originally). You can certainly use the Pyle version.
nutmeg
Just glancing at Amazon, it appears that Neil Philip's book is a DK kids picture book format. 64 pages. Howard Pyle version is, well, not a picture book. :D I'd use whichever is age appropriate.
