Alessandra
I am helping ds with a Cub Scout project -- a map of where ancestors came from. We have some ancestors who were missionaries from Scotland to New Hebrides (Vanuatu) in the 1880's. Their ship from Scotland went to Australia; then they went to the New Hebrides from there. Does anyone make an educated guess as to whether ships went by the north or south coasts of Australia? Do you happen to know what would be a logical port in the 1880's -- Sydney? Cairns? Thanks in advance for any help!

Rosie_0801
My guess would have been Albany, WA then to Sydney. Rosie
Alessandra
Rosie Thank you very much. I did not want a map that showed an impossible sea journey, so we will the line along Australia's south coast. Many thanks!
