I like the "output" ideas I gleaned from here for example: http://apcentral.collegeboard.com/apc/public/repository/World_History_Syllabus_1.pdf Although I'm not planning on using any of the resources they list, the generic assignments and organization of the course is very helpful. Also the page you linked to is just what I was looking for but couldn't find when I was reading through less helpful info, albeit also at the College Board website, about AP Japanese.
