sandellie4
My dd, who wants to major in poly sci, would like to visit NE colleges; we plan to take a trip with her in about two weeks. So far she is visiting Amherst and Bates. We figure those two aren't real likely, as her SAT was 2150 and we would require substantial aid (we are middle class). So we need some lower-tier, but still good, colleges for her to also visit. Any thoughts or ideas from WTMers would be most welcome! Brenda in MA
If you're looking at LACs, then I'd suggest Union College in Schnectady, NY. Brenda
LanaTron
What about my alma mater--Mount Holyoke College?? I don't know if it's considered "lower-tier" or not. Don't let the fact that it's a women's college scare her or you off. It's a great school with a beautiful campus. Of course, I'm partial, though. ;-)
