winoelle
Has anyone used just the language arts program from Winterpromise? Any thoughts about it? I am considering trying it for my 2nd grader and was considering the animal themed set, but I wasn't sure if this works well without the rest of the program. Noelle You can use these as separate subjects. They are loosely connected by the readers and that's it. Nothing else. I used it one year, but it's pretty much all workbook work and long in duration in my opinion. Have you checked the sample? It's about 2-3 pages of workbook work a day, even though it's more than 1 workbook, in addition to readers.
SnowWhite
We like WinterPromise LA. The Animal themed LA though, does not include any creative writing prompts because the child is supposed to complete notebook pages about animals each week. You could purchase the Make Your Own Animal Notebook separately I suppose.
