I'll bet if you ask on Freecycle or look on Craigslist, you might be able to find someone with a television to give away or sell. You could try your local second-hand store too. TravelingChris Posted June 15, 2009 Share Posted June 15, 2009 DO you mean an old analog tv like just became obsolete last Friday? YOu just want to use it for videos and/ or dvds? I bet you can get one for free from Craig's list and if not, go to goodwill or salvation army thriftstore or someplace like that. We bought one last year for our daughter's dvd lessons for about 20 dollars. IF you call within the next few weeks, you can even get a coupon for 40 dollars towards a converter box.
