Tiramisu
She takes so long because she's VERY distractable. I see this tendency with other work, but not so much as in math. We are using CLE. I love it and don't want to change, but it gets discouraging when I have to keep bringing her attention back, and it goes on and on and on... Next problem...We are in light unit 405, but I think we both need to take a break from the regular math routine for the summer. If she were in 310 or 410, I wouldn't worry so much because the first light unit of the next level is review. But here we are in the middle of a level. Any suggestions as to how to stay on track and help her not forget everything before September? Thanks for any advice or encouragement!:001_smile:
MIch elle
That means you would probably complete 1-1.5 lessons/wk. We stopped at 609 and will do 610 in Sept. then skip 701 (review LU).
amtmcm
Here's an idea for fun math to use over the summer: http://simplycharlottemason.com/books/your-business-math/
Mom0012
My daughter is halfway through lightunit 204. I am having her do one lesson a week over the summer. Lisa
Tiramisu
Thanks for the suggestions. I thought it might be helpful to have a change of pace from CLE over the summer, but I think the one page a day, one lesson idea might be the best approach. There are a lot of threads moving through the CLE lessons and it is probably best to keep on top of them. Thanks again!
