Jean in Newcastle
:glare: There needs to a warning label on these logic books "Warning: this book will arm your tween so that he can be even more obnoxious!:tongue_smilie:" In defense, I've pointed out a couple of his fallacies this morning. There was the "thinking that the dirty clothes will levitate into the laundry basket" fallacy. And the "expecting that his bed will make itself" fallacy. And the really bad, "thinking that there would be no consequences for failing to clean his room" fallacy. Oh - and if this kid tells me one more time that I'm making a "straw-man argument" then he's going to find a real straw man propped up on his bed!:D

I was going to start using a logic curriculum with my ds9, but now I'm starting to reconsider... ;) Cat
ThatCyndiGirl
You could point out the fallacy of his belief that you will ever cook for him again, ever drive him anywhere again, etc. based solely on your past behaviour. :glare::001_smile::tongue_smilie:
Starr
Should we really educate them? :D

adams101
I live with 3 of them! My DH picks everything I say apart. My DS11 has done it for several years. Now DD9 has started. And we are just starting HS! It's really bad when they all start on me at once. I don't think that fast!
lionfamily1999
This was the one concern I had with TWTM and classical hsing. Oh, the wonderful things to look forward too! Lol.
