athena1277
I've read a lot of the talk on modesty when swimming and I would really like to get a swim shirt like they sell for kids. I haven't seen them anywhere in adult sizes. I'd like to be able to buy it at a brick and mortar store, something inexpensive. Has anyone seen these anywhere? Thank you! bettyandbob
The Muslim woman in my swim class said she got her rash guards at Dick's. Her's are long sleeve, they probably have short sleeve too. She said her's were men's. I've seen rash guards, short and long sleeve, for women, in the Lands End catalog. Maybe Sears has them with their Lands End stuff. abbeyej
Just search "rash guard". Lands' End has several in short and long sleeves. Or, as the PP said, sporting goods stores typically carry them as well.
kewb
I just bought myself a rash guard from Land's End.
Mommyfaithe
You can get them at Kiefer.com and swimoutlet.com. My dd is a lifeguard and she uses one all the time...keeps her from getting too cold or sunburned. Good Luck, Faithe
AndyJoy
I got mine at Big5 Sporting Goods.
Stacia
Land's End at Sears. I got one for myself this week. They had both short- and long-sleeved swim shirts.
TxMama
If you are lucky you can search a local surf shop.
Miss Peregrine
I find them at thrift stores and sporting good stores. Sam's Club also has them seasonally.
Guest Sparks625
I buy my kids and adult swim shirts from UV Skinz (http://www.uvskinz.com). Really good quality and decent pricing (more than Land's End but I've had those ones before Nd they tend to fall apart more quickly from chlorine use.) they go all the way to 4xl sizes. plus I like the companies story. They are really trying to make a difference. Good luck!
fairfarmhand
we found some nice things in Walmart's sporting goods Department. The fabric was the same as swimwear fabric with built in bras. (I you are bigger up top this might not work but it worked for my dd)
Anita in NC
I got mine at Lands' End. I like rash guards because I don't like getting burnt while at the pool.
Farrar
Mine also came from Land's End... but if you end up ordering online, be aware that Land's End's, at least, run large. I'm decidedly a size L, but the L is really big on me.
Dmmetler
Check the athletic wear section of Target. They're sold for runners, but if you read the label, also provide the UV protection when wet.
jewellsmommy
Mine came from Lands End. I got it last year and I am still wearing it this year. :D
Whereneverever
Lands End- And they have them right now for $10!
sleepymommy
I got mine last summer from Athleta. I've also seen them at Dicks and REI.
myfunnybunch
Sears might have the Lands End shirts, or can have them shipped to the store. I have a short sleeve and a long sleeve rash guard from LE and really like them. Cat
