KidsHappen
I just got back from walking the dog. It is twilight and there were so many lightening bugs that it looked like Christmas lights. The weather is beautiful too. Not too hot, not too cold but just right with a light breeze and the sweet smell of freshly mown grass and honeysuckles. muffinmom
Agreed! Went outside for a bit and the wind was blowing lightly...so relaxing. (But if you've been in TN for long, you know the humidity won't be held off forever!)
Tree House Academy
Ahh...you should live in my part of TN. :) It is humid less than a month out of the year (and usually that is late July, early August). Up here on the mountain, the humidity is so low that, at night, it is downright chilly...even in the middle of summer. We are surrounded by mountains on all sides that tower higher than we are (even though we are at least 2500 ft), so, to look out my window, it is the blue and green mountain view all summer long - fireflies in the fields, the babbling of the creek that flows past our house, the deer that graze the rows of corn (gotta love 'em). This life isn't for everyone, but I sure do love it here!
Faithseed
Ya'll are making me tear up! :crying: I grew up in the Tri-Cities, and part of my heart will always be there. Enjoy it for me too, ok?

The Girls' Mom
I was thinking that this afternoon myself. I love that part of the day when the sun has gone down just enough that my yard is all shade :001_smile: I hope we never have to live anywhere else. We love it here.
