melissel
Who is the author of the Liberty! Story of the American Revolution book? I cannot seem to find this thing anywhere except in their package, and I'm trying to get a better look at some of the individual materials. Is this book proprietary to their program? It's not the PBS companion to the documentary series, is it? (That would be awesome, because I own that!) TIA!
sandra in va
Hi, The book I have is called Liberty! How the Revolutionary War Began by Lucille Recht Penner. It is a Landmark book ISBN 0375822003 The title is different from the one in their catalog, but my cover matches the cover on their website. Also, it is the version used in the IG I own (2006). Hope this helps~
teamturner
I used WP AS1 this year and the title of the book is really Liberty! How the Revolutionary War Began by Lucille Recht Penner. I don't know why they have it listed wrong in their catalog but they have it written like the title above in the teacher guide. This is the only book in the program that begins w/the title Liberty. It is a wonderful book, as are all the books in WP AS1. It's a Landmark book and it says on the cover that it was originally published under the title The Liberty Tree. HTHs!
