Julie in Austin
If you live near a Half Price Books, they have the BEST one: a $3 gift card per kid per week--every week all summer!
gardening momma
Pizza Hut (Book It) try your library--I see my library has one. I don't know if there are individual rewards, but there are prize drawings Edit: oops, you said library
Sebastian (a lady)
Besides the library, Borders, and Barnes n Noble are there any other places that have these types of programs? Thanks! Veritas Press is running one. I wrote up the info from their newsletter here. You could also use Book Adventure and put your own prize levels in as the teacher. However, this would be limited to whatever books they have quizes for. You could also just make your own with a reading log and homemade coupons for prizes. I do agree with the other poster who mentioned Half-Price Books. We used that last summer and had a great time.
gardening momma
Do an online search...Last year a friend of mine in Texas had her kids signed up for a few reading programs. I think one was through an ice cream shop.
