Karen in CO
I realized last night that all of our science encyclopedias are too young for my dd now. We were looking for an explanation of the lymphatic system, and none of them had it. Not even one picture of a lymph node. I need something meatier than our children's encyclopedias. What are your favorites? Thanks
charlotteb
We love the Usborne Internet Linked Science Encyclopedia!
Paula in PA
We have 3: The Kingfisher Science Encyclopedia, the DK Encyclopedia of Science, and the DK Visual Encyclopedia of Science. All of them are very nice and I like having different references available with different approaches. There are also the DK Visual Guides for science, similar to the one for history recommended in the new WTM. Here's the one for Human. These are absolutely gorgeous and I plan on getting as many of them as I can. Edited May 30, 2009 by Paula in PA
