erinfontenot
Hello, can someone direct me to the thread that had sample schedules on it? Or, could you just share with me some sample schedules? I am trying to create a new schedule for my 3 children w/o reinventing the wheel. I am having a hard time making it portrait size, but that is what I want. thanks a bunch.... Pamela H in Texas
sorry....we're not much into schedules. We do a lot of "what we feel next." We do use a weekly planner (from Donna Young's site) in order to know what all must be done each day/week.
Peggy in Va
If you're meaning blank schedules, there are a variety of different ones at donnayoung.org http://donnayoung.org/index.htm Also, Christine from these boards, has blank schedules on her blog. Depending on what curriculum you're using, she also has lesson plans for sharing. http://corefoundations.wordpress.com/schedules/ HTH

erinfontenot
We like Math U See. I didn't start using it until 2nd grade though b/c I didn't start home schooling until then. I would start it with my little one though. I plan too. I have two who use it and I love the way it works. My other son uses Singapore. It is just the way he learns. We did Rightstart but it was too difficult to sit with him for every single lesson when I have other children to tend to also. I do like the abacus though. Sorry if I am not much help.
