charlotteb
So, I have my next year's curriculum planned out, except for Bible. I have yet to find the "perfect" curriculum for us. I would like something we can do together as a family. And it needs to have some good substance to it. I will have a 7th grade DS and a 4th grade DD at that time. Any suggestions? Jolash
We started our fourth year of this series this spring. I like that the questions have the kids search out the scripture for the answer. We do almost all of it orally and if something strikes a chord with him, we'll talk about it. It's amazing that even at 9 he can come up with some very thought provoking answers. Caroline4kids
We use www.bedellcurriculum.com for everyone and my oldest does the research questions. A good family study is the Balancing the Sword set. We expand upon Bedell with the corresponding BtS lesson.
charlotteb
Thanks for the recommendations! I can't seem to get the Bedell site to work. There appears to be no links to click on for more info. Any other ideas for Bible curriculum??
ilovemy6kids
Hi~ Timberdoodle sells Balancing the Sword, I have never seen it, but the reviews say that it is very thorough and you can use it as a family. Sheri
