Danestress
Is tylenol the best thing for pain? I had a dumb household accident. I'm not even sure what I did - I sort of smashed my head with a door - I think I thought the door was opening and my foot was in the way. It actually sort of stunned me and I don't know exactly what I did, but I have been hurting all day. I've had a mild but relentless headache, it hurts to eat or speak, I'm just sort of throbbing. There is no mark that I can see, but it's in the hairline. Tylenol? I tried Advil with no success. Can you take Tylenol 2 hours after Advil? Tree House Academy
Aleve works best for me. I think everyone is different. If you continue to hurt after having head trauma (even if it was mild), you may want to see a doctor...especially since you don't remember what happened. gardening momma
I usually take tylenol (acetominophen) and ibuprofen at the same time (2 of each). Isn't Advil ibuprofen? Acetominophen and ibuprofen do not interact. They also work on different types of pain, so I take both to be sure I'm covered ;). Before I started doing this, I'd take one or the other, and not get rid of all of the pain (until it naturally went away on it's own).
