Guest peiking
I have two: one finishing grade 2 and one finishing grade 4. I am looking for good quality math workbooks that will keep them busy and challenged during the summer. Any suggestions?
Closeacademy
Singapore Math's Extra Practice books are pretty good. They cover a year's worth of skills in a little math books. Just an idea for you to check out.:001_smile:
Matryoshka
I was thinking of either using Singapore CWP on the same level we just finished (if I can still get my hands on it), or using the free MEP worksheets online.
Guest bob_16s
Leapahead online math program by Noetic Learning is awesome. It is really good. The word problems are VERY good. It My DD did it last year. She loves it! T You can work on the assignments online or print them off and work offline. The program automatically grades the assignments, online reports shows her current completion status. If you need the link, here it is http://www.noetic-learning.com/summermath
Matryoshka
Oh, I somehow missed that your older was already finishing up grade 4 - after grade 4 is where I start the Summers of Fred - LOF Fractions was perfect over the summer between 4th and 5th grade. BakersDozen
For review I use Horizons and LOF at the upper elementary level. LOF is more focused, Horizons covers all the math concepts. So my 4th grader will do 20 minutes of Horizons then LOF.

2cents
I'd do Singapore's review or check out BJU Press summer bridge books.
