MitchellMom
I have Cathy Duffy's book but it just has not helped me determine my children's learning style. Can someone please recommend a web site or book that would help me? I want to know this so I can choose curriculum for the fall. Thank you!!! Orthodox6
Mrs. Duffy's discussion of learning styles is, to me, "bullets" rather than meaty discussion. You may gain more from two books by Cynthia Ulrich Tobias, an author much mentioned in homeschooling literature, for the topic of learning styles, a decade ago. Here are Amazon.com links: http://www.amazon.com/Every-Succeed-Cynthia-Ulrich-Tobias/dp/1561797081/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1243210228&sr=1-3 http://www.amazon.com/They-Learn-Cynthia-Ulrich-Tobias/dp/1561794147/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1243210228&sr=1-1 HTH. SN: I took it with me to our family bbq last night. We took turns analyzing each other... very interesting for the whole family. :001_smile:
