TracyR
What do you all use for Vocabulary? Just curious and would love to see what programs are out there. Especially for a 6th and 4th grader.
Melissa in CA
Hi Tracy, My son really enjoys Vocabu-Lit. We had several starts and stops with Wordly Wise, which a lot of homeschooler's use. We, personally, disliked it. Vocabu-Lit is fun and something my son is able to do independently.
my3starsofthesea
We use and are very happy with Wordly Wise!
Colleen in SEVA
We use Caesar's English from rfwp.com and Wordly Wise. You could use CE with your 6th &4th graders together.
3browneyedboys4me
However, it's very good. I think it just depends on your childs learning style. ;)
islandmom
We use Wordly Wise (2,7, and 9). My kids are always excited to see the words learnt in Wordly Wise in their reading.
gingersmom
I am on my second year with Wordly Wise 3000. I like it a lot. I am also going to try vocabu-lit with my 7th grader who is new to homeschooling.

mom31257
http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?item_no=477200&netp_id=440390&event=ESRCN&item_code=WW&view=details I like the looks of it and it can be used by all ages. The roots that are best for younger children have asterisks beside them. It is the English form of Greek and Latin roots.

Loupelou
We use and are very happy with Wordly Wise! :iagree: I have used this off and on over the years, some really enjoy it, others not so much. It always depends on the students learning style.
Brindee
I'm debating between Vocabu-Lit and Vocabulary for Classical Roots for my dd who will be in 7th grade. I just recently ordered the Vocabu-Lit, so don't have it yet, so I can't compare the two completely until I do. Course the VfCR would be more for 7th grade, not 6th......
