Bess
and blech. I don't know if this is normal, but a lot of the veggies went bad within two days... like, rotten! The main food box had a lot of foods we normally wouldn't buy because of the processed aspect of it all... although, I knew to expect that because I heard others talk about that. But what surprised me was that I really don't think it's really saving money. If I compared what I got through them and compared them to say, Aldi, and processed foods that I could buy there...I don't think it's a better deal. chiguirre
That was my experience, too. I tried it once, but it didn't beat shopping the specials for us.
Melissa in FL
I agree. Between the food we just wouldn't touch and the food that we "suffered" through it just wasn't worth the "savings". I find I do well really sticking to only buying what's on sale and making my menus from what's on hand in our house. Melissa
lovemy9kids
We just finished our first week with it and I would have to completely agree. Some of the food was just gross and I don't think it saved us any money. The vegetables were o.k. but you can't get those unless you get the main box. I think I'll go back to shopping the old fashioned way :001_smile: Renee
LizzyBee
We tried it a couple times, and I thought the produce box was the best part. I wonder if it varies by area. The produce we got was better than Walmart or Food Lion, but not as nice as Lowes or Harris Teeter. We've found the steaks to be pretty bad, but we got 10 lbs of chicken strips last time that were really good. They were coated with flour rather than heavily breaded and nice to have on days when we needed something quick.
Nakia
Yeah, we tried it a couple of times, and it wasn't good at all.

Bess
We tried it a couple times, and I thought the produce box was the best part. . Well, I was excited when I first saw the veggie boxes (we got two different kinds), because they looked good. But literally within two days, all the zuccinnis, some tomatoes, two onions, and all the avacados were bad. Dissapointing!
