Can a child jump into Level C without having done A or B?
Sunshine State Sue
Yes, I saw that on the website, but is this accurate for those just starting? Can a child jump into Level C without having done A or B? I thought the books accurately reflected the appropriate grade. We did some of the later ones without doing the earlier ones. Note that there are Perplexors, Grid Perplexors, and Venn Perplexors as well. We've used them all.
Matryoshka
I don't think he'd need to back up to A, but maybe start at B? My twin not-quite 11yos are somewhere in B - they did do Mindbenders before starting, but I'd guess you could start with B - A starts off with much simpler puzzles (smaller grids), though by the end they've ramped up a bit. HSDCY
At mindware.com, they have a sample page for each level of grid perplexors. You might want to take a look at them or print out all 4 levels and have him do all of them to see which level fits best.
