Would you eat this?

I feel most grocery store sliced lunch meat is very bacteria laden. Slicers are cleaned periodically, but not between each use and are often cleaned only once daily. So bits of meat/cheese from the morning, left on the slicer all day at room temperature, could have contaminated the fresh meat cut in the evening.


I have worked in and around delis for years, and while I still eat deli meat, I [probably wouldn't use it after 3 days, and definitely not after 5 days.


Sorry, I would toss it.
