athena1277
What do I need to do to my frost-free upright freezer before the movers pickup our stuff? I've emptied it. It's clean. It will be going into storage for a while since we will be in smaller quarters for a while. Will it leak water? Does it have to be taken outside? I really an clueless about this!

Unicorn.
Turn it off a few days before the movers come so it has time to let any ice melt/drain. Make sure you leave the door open, and let it dry completely before putting it in storage. Otherwise, you will have a mold and mildew mess on your hands when you take it out of storage. It might not hurt to remove the door completely while in storage either. hth
