I have an older K and a young 3rd grader this year. They'll be 6 and 8 for most of the school year. Last year was the first time I'd used a Bible curriculum and I used CLE level 1. They really enjoyed it. Both like to color and would color the day's page while I read the story. They like each having their own workbook and getting new books as they completed a section. I would continue with it except the level 2 looks too advanced for my K child as he is just beginning reading and about half of the book has reading activities including word finds, crosswords, fill in letters, etc. Can anyone recommend something similar? I'm just looking for Bible stories with an activity book. I found Lifepac, but I didn't look any further than the notice that it doesn't ship outside of the continental USA. I'm looking for KJV verses, and just fun Bible stories, no doctrinal content. I just want Bible to be a fun pleasant time that is easy for me to implement. Somehow, the Egermeier's reading just doesn't get done in the same way as when we have the workbook. I may resort to that if I cannot find anything but don't look forward to it. Wish there was a workbook that went with it. Thank you in advance. I'm so disappointed in myself that I still haven't ordered, all curriculum for the next year. Trying to finalize choices so I can combine orders where possible.
Any other sites like http://www.veritasbible.com/which I can use as an online bible curriculum for upper elementary school
Hello all! I'd like to get some feedback on anyone that has purchased the SOS 5-subject Curriculum Set and how did you like it? I'm doing my research on it before I buy since it's a $400+ set and it will follow my kids from 3rd - 12th grade! I like that it has a consistent 5 subjects that covers the Bible, History & Geography, Language Arts, Math, and Science so I could use it as the core curriculum and add worksheets and activities I around it. Anyone use this with their kids? Thanks!
I have purchased GrapeVine studies and as I'm starting to use it, I'm wondering how this is supposed to work. Unless I'm missing something obvious, I'm confused as to how I'm supposed to use it. It seems a bit disjointed. What am I missing? I've seen posts that GrapeVine is loved by families, so how does this work? My son is 8 years old and I need something that will keep his attention more so than the typical Sunday school format.
Hi :3 This is Pronghorn's daughter, and I'm here to tell you about a game I made for my Girl Scout Silver Award. It's available free at JourneyswithPaul.blogspot.com My game centers around the missionary journeys of the Apostle Paul. You can print out the game board and pieces at the website and it's completely free. It can be used in home learning or Sunday school situations and other things. I'd appreciate feedback if you check it out. Please feel free to spread the word to other sites, especially Christian ones. Bye :3
