    My dd11 did this recently & the neurologist diagnosed her with seizure activity after tests.

    :tongue_smilie: I am with you! I hate bats, too. We had one stuck in our fence after a hurricane several years ago. Totally freaked me out!

    When my dc were in second grade, it took us about 45 min. We use Saxon.

    Yep, that will be fine. Make SL work for you. My dd11 just started Core F this week & we are really enjoying it. This is our third year with SL and one thing I've learned is that it is "too much" for us to do *everything* listed in the IG, so I pick and choose. I hope it works out for you guys. We love SL!

    We started yesterday, with a "light" day, but today is a full day.
