  1. I don't have a PayPal account. I send money orders when I order from someone. I accept money orders or checks, and I make sure the check clears before I send the items.
  2. Lost 30 lbs and maintained that loss Energy through the roof Clear, younger looking skin Stronger immune system
  3. AO Year 7 b/c I personally love the idea of AO. :)
  4. I'm not familiar with Ex. Earth, but I did just read about it online to try to answer your question. IMO Ex. Earth seems to be more open & go with extras included, whereas you would be putting together things yourself with GtG. I have lots of geography extras already, so GtG is a better fit for us.
  5. Oh, I am so sorry. Praying for you and your family.
  6. I will be using Cantering the Country and Galloping the Globe with ds9 this upcoming school year. I highly recommend them.
  7. Oh, Pen, your ideas are fabulous! Thank you so much. I look forward to implementing them this week.
  8. Here is ours (our first attempt at wet on wet painting included): http://freeindeed-redkitchen.blogspot.com/2013/04/homeschooling-and-life-apr-1-5-2013.html Anyone else done yet?
  9. About to watch the "new" Red Dawn with my older kiddos...wonder if it will be as cheesy as the original. LOL

  10. Here is a link to our first attempt at wet on wet painting (it is mixed in with all our weekly homeschool activities, but I posted the pics towards the top so you don't have to wade through everything we did this week...unless you want to): http://freeindeed-redkitchen.blogspot.com/2013/04/homeschooling-and-life-apr-1-5-2013.html
  11. We like Getting to Know the World's Greatest Artists and the Come Look With Me art series.
  12. OK. I plan to blog tomorrow & then I'll post the link here. Thanks!
  13. There are some occasions in which I have to reteach, but not many. We go over any missed problems on the day the lesson is completed, so that way it never piles up on me to have to reteach a lot of material, and also keeps my children from continuously working problems incorrectly.
  14. I bought my favorite pair in the JC Penney juniors department. They are Arizona Favorite Skinny jeans. They hold their shape well and they're comfy. In my case they literally lived up to their name! :)
  15. I don't find it to be too teacher dependent. The concepts are explained in the student's books, so they are able to read it themselves.
  16. Nova Natural has great prices and quick delivery. I ordered from them recently and was very pleased.
  17. Agreeing with Hunter. I believe Waldorf has aspects that are beneficial to all ages.
  18. I am doing Cadron Creek's Narnia unit study (Further Up and Further In) with ds9 this year. It's actually been pretty easy to tie in history. The guide has several ideas. And for the first time in my life, I know what The War of the Roses really was. :) You may be surprised by what you'll learn.
  19. I've only heard and said "set foot."
