  1. Neutral. My ds10 and dd12 play it. We limit electronics to one-two hours a day, so obsession is not a problem here.
  2. Maybe Further Up and Further In (unit study utilizing The Chronicles of Narnia) for your older three children? I suggest this b/c ds10 and I have done it this year and he says this is his BEST year ever. For your younger two, try Five in a Row. It is our favorite curriculum for the young years.
  3. We got back to painting this week. :hurray: We painted rainbows. Here's the link. Scroll down through the pics and you'll see it: http://freeindeed-redkitchen.blogspot.com/2013/05/homeschooling-and-life-may-6-10-2013.html

  12. What are your best ideas, activities, and games for teaching this concept to a sixth grader? Thanks!
  13. The creepy shadow was a really interesting twist on Peter Pan. I liked that. I hope we've seen the last of Tamara and Greg. I find the two of them annoying. Maybe Hook will do away with them? I guess we may see a "good" Regina again for a little while since Snow and Charming saved her life, but I'm sure it won't last. I really dread the cliffhanger that is surely coming, though...makes for a long summer!
  14. Here is a pic and the story behind it: http://freeindeed-redkitchen.blogspot.com/2013/05/strength.html
  15. OK, Pen, don't give up on us! We didn't paint this past week, either. But this coming week, I promise we will!!!
  16. Here is ours: http://freeindeed-redkitchen.blogspot.com/2013/05/homeschooling-and-life-april-29-may-5.html
  17. Nature walk, reading while cuddling, coffee time, and art. :)
  18. My older kids could have answered that question in the latter part of second grade.
