Edpo: Avert your eyes! I prepped for school. The new go-with-the-flow philosophy I've decided to adopt requires both more and less planning. As in, less because we will be starting a topic and just seeing where it leads us, but more because I need to be prepared to let it lead us in a variety of directions. Our main learning goals for this next term are developing thinking skills and fostering curiosity. This is harder to plan. My type A-ness is struggling, but I think it will be more enjoyable for everyone if we can pull it off.

I am also fever-resistant. Fever seems to be my body's last line of defense, only happening when I am near death. Kitty hopped on my back in the middle of the night and started cleaning me. She started with my hair, which I ignored, and then started licking the inside of my ear. That got her banished to the living room. Even though I make her wear a sock hoodie, I am still her favorite person. She kneads me. (See what I did there?) I plan on accomplishing very little today. The kitten won't stop scratching at the gash behind her ear. It has become even worse and would never heal if I left her alone. So...I fashioned her a sort of hoodie out of an old sock.
