  1. Hi everyone! I'm diving straight into HSing my 5th grader again (we were home for 2nd grade) as well as my 5 yo Kindergartner, 4 yo Pre-K, with another little coming in November. I'm loving TWTM and the idea of classical education but I'm feeling very overwhelmed currently. We are set to begin schooling next month in order to balance (vacation) time when the baby comes. Hubs is supportive but has his doubts about my commitment as well as my organization to be successful. That being said, I could use some tips, pointers, or links to threads that help break things down a bit more or that could help me. I've been browsing and reading for a few months but would love seasoned parents input. Thanks in advance!
  2. Just wanted to introduce myself before I started posting my SOS! I'm Sarah, wife to a busy hardworking officer of the law and a SAHM of 3 littles with one more coming in November. I HS'd my now 9yo girl for 2nd grade before she wanted to return to public school. Now she wants to come home after this year (4th grade) is over and HS along with the 5yo and 4yo. I'm very overwhelmed because we kind of unschooled before but we both need structure and a plan for this year. A wonderful mama from church mentioned reading TWTM and I heard church bells and harps once I began reading!! Now that the school year is getting closer, I need to crack down and figure out a plan for 5th grader who dislikes math, grammar, history, and science as well as a Kindergartner and a sometimes pesky little brother. So with all of that being said, be prepared to please help me and point me in the right direction, give me tips and advice, or send me chocolate covered strawberries :smilielol5:
