  1. My vote would be MFW. We used ECC last year and will be starting Exp to 1850. I love being able to teach the kids together and having the book basket choices. Art and science are finally getting done because they're scheduled in. I can't wait to start using their high school curriculum, as it looks excellent. Jess
  2. Dd, 8, is currently doing Singapore 1B, and I'm leaning toward continuing with it next year. Although I have to admit that thought of a computer based program that helps with teaching does appeal to me. Older dd, 12, is currently using TT 6 and I'm on the fence with her as well, leaning toward using Chalkdust next year. Just wondering what your opinions are in using TT in the younger years. They won't come out with grade 3 until fall. Is anything using TT 4 successfully? Thanks so much!!
  3. I've used both, and I strongly prefer MFW. It was easier for me to follow, and seemed more well rounded. I love the Hazell's approach to education
  4. Cut a roll of paper towels in half and squash down. Mix 1/2 c water, a few tablespoons baby oil and baby shampoo over it. I put them in an old baby wipe container.
  5. Our white mini flop just hops around the house during the day. No much success litter training, though we haven't been very consistent. She is shedding furiously right now.
  6. sounds like jaundice to me. Call your doctor.
  7. I have got to see this. Our area is swarming with Lymes. My husband was just diagnosed.
  8. We used Invisible Fence at our previous house. A lot of money but works great. At our new house, we bought the kit and did it ourselves. It works just at good at a fraction of the price.
  9. I find myself becoming more and more disgusted with radio.
  10. I keep them in a scrapbook now, but I used to have instructions on how to use them to make Christmas candles. It makes a wonderful gift for next year. The cards go around the outside and the candle illuminates them. Paula
