Hoping to be our first year back at home after 4 years in public school. I will have my 11year old doing the following next year if all goes as planned. Reading: great books from each genre some are part of history too. Language: rod and staff 6 Math: pre-algebra Teaching Text books History: Notgrass From Adam to Us. Science: Exploring Creation with General science Spelling: Spelling power list D or E and my own activities Music: She is currently doing trombone. PE my kids are always on the go but do sports too. Bible: part of History. I will have my 4th and 8th grader do history and science with us the other subjects they are going to use the same thing at their level. My oldest will do English online. We are leaneing towards Monarch. She is doing the standard test practices and loves the on the computer ideas. Please let me know if you have any helpful tips. We do travel a lot while my husband is gone about 9 weeks late summer early fall so online access is big for my oldest less to haul with. Thanks
