  1. I like this program, it is what my family is using. :D
  2. I had a patient once who never grew much after birth. She was 2.5 and the size of an infant. Looked like an infant, but talked. It was wild. Sadly, she didn't live.
  3. Our cat acted like that and he had distemper. I thought he was still too young for all his shots, but he wasn't. Sadly, he didn't make it. That was 6 years ago. :(
  4. Okay, thanks a lot. Now I am busy watching homeschooling links on YouTube when I NEED to be in the shower!
  5. For me it is sexual, class of 1994 here. LOL
  6. Rattlers are one of the top reasons we are moving away from here. We killed a 6 footer recently, and a 4 footer, and the kids saw two others under the house but we couldn't get to them to shoot. Our area is infested with them. We lost our poor dog to a snake bite on her muzzle. Yup, I hate snakes. I am so sorry.
  7. I thought that too. I also think that suing for 1 million dollars is another example of abuse of the court system. I mean, come ON? One million? What about the adoptees rights to know her history. How painful is it for her? Having someone sue like this can hurt adopted children and birthparents nation wide. I do believe this is an exception, not the rule. I hope the courts throw it out. Our adoption of our son is a fully open adoption. His birthmom even babysits him (and our other children) when we go out of town. It works for us.
  8. No. I tip for service (filling drinks, bringing food, going back and forth). I do tip at Sonic, just whatever left over change I have,
  9. The DS is a GREAT idea! My DD loves playing with her dogs on their and chef and another couple. She is not a gamer either.
  10. I couldn't read anything for awhile after Twilight. It was all too *blah* for me. LOL I read Linda Lael Miller and Joan Johnston, but I think they are too racy for a young girl. Sorry, I'm of no help. LOL
  11. I ordered it. It was at such a price that I can forgive myself if it is not all I need. That being said, it looks so nice and pretty. :D Not to mention I don't have to use my ink!
  12. I should have ordered it when it was cheaper, but I didn't. So, is it worth the money?
  13. DD is 11 and just started getting the buds. Well, it started abotu 6 months ago but they still haven't grown more. She also has underarm hair and some down south, but no other signs yet. Our doctor said it SHOULD go like this: "boobs, pubes, spurt, squirt" (breast start, pubes grow some, growth spurt, then period".
  14. I think people regret asking me this question. I have recently read "Dumbing Us Down" & "Weapons of Mass Instruction" and after running through what I have learned from these books, usually people have their jaw on the ground. I have yet to have someone argue with me.
  15. And it is getting worse. I understand he is getting on their nerves always wanting to do what they do, but even though I make sure they get time away from him, it never seems to be enough. What do I do? Like, they were all building with Lincoln Logs and he touched and knocked one over (accident) and they scolded him. Then it happened again and they exiled him. I asked them why they didn't just give him his own so that he could build too, and they were like "We need them all". UGH! They snap at him a lot and tease and aggravate him. It just started last week with the oldest doing it and the others have fallen into step. :(
  16. We're actually going to be between Denton and Frisco...I have driven the two hour one way trek up 35N-W six TIMES in the last two days.
  17. No. It overwhelms me too. I still love having it though because I can get things for a decent price from there. I just have to look them up after I decide what I want. It makes me too greedy to look through it, and also makes me second guess my choices.
