  1. 20 minute bodyweight circuit. I feel unmoored if I don't get this one done every week.
  2. 1km walk done with the dogs that behave off-leash. Way too icy to get the next 1km loop done with the dog who insists on leashing. DH says he will deal with, yay for doggo and my safety, not yay for fitness. Oh well, I'm in this for the long game. Was still pleasant 1 km despite the wipe-outs. ☺️

  5. A fraught workday. 10 minute yoga video before bed, very soothing. (Day 6/30)

  7. My upper back gets that way on rare occasion; getting a picked up hug from behind is usually a successful method to crack it.

  17. This is a family favourite. We eat a lot of game meat. I would encourage a child's interest for sure, but agree that Christmas dinner is maybe putting a lot of pressure on, if your family is not used to game. What about Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or as a side dish?   19. People in our local communities *were* planning these sorts of things. Our PHO shut down all seasonal activities, including outdoor venues. The only exceptions are food related: farmers' markets (but nothing crafty just food) and a couple local groups can still prepare free Christmas dinners for pick up/delivery. It's a little head scratching, particularly for those of us who live in less densely populated areas. And I too feel the need to apologize for adding a note of negativity.   20. My hair looks better if I only wash it 2-3 times a week. I shower with it in a bun, and use dry shampoo as needed in between washes.

  22. I'm starting to think that, as with puberty and pregnancy, mid-life hormones can be more disruptive than anticipated. The severity of the disruption may call for short-term chemical assistance, may answer to other changes, or may just be endured. It's hard to know with no firm end-date in sight.
