Ugh, I just read Canada has paused their AZ rollout. So rude of the news to report on this the day after my vaccine. Hoping very much not to get a blood clot.
Paused on under 55. So in my province being offered in the large urban areas for those between 55-65, weighting risk factor of blood clot from Covid much greater than risk of blood clot from AZ.

Daily walk. Wind storm causing multiple power outages, announcement of further restrictions, definitely helped to walk off some of the ragey/angsty darkness.

Is anyone aware of the best doctor familiar with Ewing Sarcoma? There is an 11-year-old B.C. girl who is stuck between what was supposed to be two-part spinal fusion surgeries, paralyzed from the chest down following a large hematoma. The second surgery became emergency surgery to remove the hematoma rather than completing the fusion. Her family is hoping for a doctor who may have seen this before. More details can be viewed on Facebook at Greta's Team, email love4greta@gmail.com

Daily walks yesterday and today, after work. I keep meaning to do exercise in the evening, but distractions distract.

We managed to pull off one covid-friendly book club meeting in the past year. The most popular item was Skor Chocolate trifle, served in individual cups.

If you have a mini-muffin tin, you can make tiny tarts of any baked pie by dividing up the pie crust recipe and pressing the dough into the cups to make the crust, then putting in the pie filling and baking. I've done this in regular muffin tins often, making French coconut tarts, pecan tarts, etc. (One recipe of crust, and one recipe of pie filling makes 12 regular sized tarts; you'd probably want the mini ones though, because a regular one is a full serving.) These can also be made ahead and frozen.
Mini bacon/egg tarts, mini strawberry pie tarts and mini cinnamon buns have all been popular here.

So the current ones have an almost pink tinge. I really don't not like them but they are falling apart. Counters are even worse and we don't want to replace counters without doing the cabinets first.
That makes sense. It is overwhelming, but nice to get something that suits your family! We went with birch cabinets for the bright wood grain. And lighter flecked countertops.

Broke out the trail runners! Did a one km walk/jog, running about half of it. Had to stop for a bit of snow and mud, and because last fall was awhile ago for my lungs :D, but so nice to be on the ground!!
20 minutes bodyweight circuit, too.

Blond maple? I love it. If you like it and don't need to stay up with the latest trends for some reason, keep it!
Is it the wood or the style of door? Maybe you could get new doors in a similar wood with a more current line to them? Some new, brighter pulls?- 3

I did a 20 some minute pilates flow tonight, which challenged my balance and strength way more than I expected.
The brief pilates attempts I've made have been challenging.

2km daily walk. So much more satisfying lately in hiking boots, rather than snow boots.

Assuming detailed route plan left with someone, and daily check in, sounds good.
