  1. Hello We have Writing With Ease book 1 (both the hardbound parent book and the soft cover parent book/student activity book) Is there or will there be a student activity book only.. a consumable book that one can buy instead of pulling pages out of the parent book?
  2. I spent over a month sorting lego parts into neatly labeled boxes (even with little corresponding pictures on the labels ) for my then 7 year old. It was a true labor of love.. that l was so pleased with.. It lasted all of a week.. :glare: and then returned to it's jumbled mess.. So.. until HE can do it himself.. they stay all commingled ..
  3. This maybe be too young.. but my kids, even the 8 year old, enjoys Starfall.com
  4. Thank you all very much for your suggestions. It is always so helpful to have starting points to sort through options.
  5. Hello I am quite new to homeschooling and would like to add a religious studies aspect to our current curriculum. I have an 8 year old, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. We currently use Right Start Math Story of the World 1 Spelling First language lessons We are Methodists.. I would like either a curriculum or a guide on how to begin religious studies with the children. Something gentle, easy, fun and nothing too "evangeltitical" Something that would go well with Story of the World would be ideal. We want to raise our children with morals and values, but with respect for other world views and beliefs. We have no problems with exploring other religions etc and do not hold the view that our world view/religious view is the "right one".. it's just the right one for us.. if that makes sense Please, this is not a debate.. but if you can offer some suggestions on where I can start looking, I'd appreciate it very much. thanks!
  6. Hello I started homeschooling my second grader in January and have made the shift to Classical Education. If I want to use 1st Language Lessons, do I start him at the start of the book, lesson 1.. or do I start at the first lesson for 2nd grade? I feel so far behind..we've only just started SOTW Vol 1..etc.. Thanks!
