I am planning to use the Intellego Unit Studies K-2 civics bundle. It includes unit studies in American Government and Citizenship, Leaders in America, and Symbols of America. I purchased it here from Currclick:

My DD5 just lost her first tooth last week. I posed the same question on my Facebook wall and the answers varied from 50 cents to $5, but the general consensus was $1.00, so that is what DD received.

We have eaten them raw stuffed with chicken salad.
-
Happy New Year! We just got back from our Lunar New Year party!
-
I bought DD5 a case for her Leapster Explorer and DD3 a small card game. I also bought them each a DVD and of course there will be candy.
-
DD5's favorite games currently are Rat-A-Tat-Cat, Sum Swamp, Hisss, and War.
Edited to add: She also loves Kids of Carcassonne.

Breakfast: 8:30am
Morning snack (only if the kids are hungry, which usually depends on how much/what they had for breakfast): 11am
Lunch: 12:30pm
Afternoon snack: 3:30pm
Dinner: 6pm

Oh, yes! Born in the 70s.
-
Tonight we had Creamy Potato Cabbage Soup and rolls.
-
When we do review, I just pick about 5-6 words from previous lessons (words I know that DD has struggled with), then we start with the new lesson. Often we split a lesson over two days.
-
I just did a rough count and guess that I have somewhere around 80. I love Penzey's! From Reya's list I have whole cardamom, vanilla beans, candied ginger, and juniper berries, but not the other two.
-
pizza dip with tortilla chips
roasted shrimp cocktail
artichoke bruschetta
DH is making his version of crab rangoon
maybe leftover Christmas cookies or candy for dessert
-
Appetizers/finger foods for dinner, watch new movies that we received for Christmas, and play new board games that we received for Christmas.
-
DDs are having a snack.
DH is playing Guild Wars 2.
-
Breakfast: no
Lunch: I will pack him a lunch the night before about 3-4 days a week.

5 ft 8 inches
shoe size: 9 US (women)

My DS is also 5, and while reading seems to come easy, he doesn't yet have the patience to read long strings of text. So, when we review, we do not review a whole lesson--I simply do a few words on the white board from the review lesson.
This is what I do with my DD5 for review, just a few words from the previous lesson and a few more from an earlier lesson that she needs to review.

Tonight is leftovers, but last night I made Pioneer Woman's Baked Ziti:
http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/2012/11/baked-ziti/
It was yummy, but made too much for my 9x13 pan. I have leftover sauce that wouldn't fit on top. Next time I might make less sauce or make a 9x13 and an 8x8.

It varies from year to year. This year we averaged about $160 per child, not including stocking stuffers.
-
I'm contemplating buying this: http://www.amazon.co...d=IJNEBFIOBVYSL
for my 5 yo DD. It comes with activity cards, beakers, test tubes, etc.

I'm having problems with logging in. Even after clicking on the link at the top of the page to resolve this, it still won't let me in for a long time then all of a sudden, it works - like now.
I've been having this same problem for the last few days.
-
I wear an apron every time I cook (not to heat up leftovers or make sandwiches for lunch). I have a few that I cycle through: one from Disney World, one from Bed Bath and Beyond, and my favorite from Vera Bradley.

Freezer.
No idea. And no, it wasn't one of the kids, it was DH.

We generally eat around 6pm, but once swimming lessons start (tonight) we will be eating around 7pm twice a week.
Who else has ordered for next year??

I ordered earlier this month and I think I'm all set for K. The only things I'll need to buy in July/August will be basic supplies and art supplies. I'm waiting for BTS sales and to see how much our supplies are depleted by then.
