There are TONS of internships to do to try out sustainable and organic farming, and now is a pretty good time to start looking for one. It's a good way to try it out, dip a toe in, and make some money while she's at it.

GLACIER!!! There's tonssss of stuff to do in and around Whitefish and Kalispell if you don't want to spend all day in the park. Go to Flathead lake too, Honestly there's so many things to do around glacier and in the flathead valley that I can't even begin to list them all.

It took me the better part of a year to finally get it cancelled. It would be 'cancelled' and then I'd get another email notification that my cancelled order was shipping, and be charged yet again for something I didn't want. To make it even more annoying, it was going to an old address so I wasn't even getting it! The website crashed for me every time I tried to change, update, UNSUBSCRIBE, contact customer service, etc. FINALLY got someone to actually answer my emails and got it resolved in about 8 minutes. What a hassle.

I got my own dog this way. There was nothing wrong with her at all. Some nice older people adopted her and simply didn't realize how much energy a puppy has. After they'd tripped over her a few dozen times, they decided a puppy was just too much hassle. Not that I think all situations are like this, or that the above one isn't sketchy, just sayin it happens :)

I live 70 miles from the nearest town and about 3 hours from the nearest big city. Amazon saves my backside more often than I'd care to admit at this point.

Slice up a granny smith apple and put it in a paper bag on or near the piano. Sounds insane, but it works! We once bought a used car with a horrific smoke smell and the people at the dealership told us that trick. The smell was gone in 2 days and the car hasn't given off a whiff of cigarette smoke in 10 years.

That type of lease and terms -is- common in the H/J world, especially at the bigger or 'better' barns. However if you're seeing red flags (and it sounds like you are), I'd run like heck.

What is the age, height and breed of the horse? If, assuming from your last lines, the horse is a jumper and depending on age, there's probably a routine of 'maintenance' keeping him sound. Or, he has dodgy x-rays or arthritic changes somewhere. These are common in the hunter/jumper world and it just becomes a game of 'how to maintain horse to keep sound'. If you received a tip about vetting, I would by all means follow it, you never know what they haven't told you. Best of luck!
