  1. I used first language lessons and writing with ease, and it is very thorough. The great thing about homeschool is you can use what you need and skip the areas you dont. Maybe still go through book 1 so he doesn't struggle with book 2, but skip any areas you see as overkill. Im sure he will do fine.
  2. Well that makes much more sense! Though I have to say with all of the handwriting that she does in it I haven't felt the need to add any until now. Like I said, I use the first language lessons for grammar, and have been using a different curriculum for spelling, I just thought it would cover penmanship. Anyways, any recommendations on a good course for penmanship that isn't too intense, because the rest of her curriculum seams to be!
  3. Have any of you looked into Peace Hill Press? They are written by Susan Bauer and a few others. They are wonderful!
  4. I am homeschooling and wondering when cursive is going to be introduced in the writing with ease series. Am I missing something? I thought this was the entire language arts class? This is what I have so far: Writing with ease level 3 for writing and composition first language lessons level 3 for grammar I just assumed that writing meant handwriting, but now I don't know? Any advice would be welcome. Alisha
  5. Hi All, My daughter is in third grade this year and is starting the writing with ease level 3. I noticed that there is no cursive instruction. Am I missing something? Is there another series that I should be using to teach this? Someone help me! Thanks!
