  1. To clarify, it is not the Innocence Project doing this, but The LA Innocence Project, a different group.
  2. How necessary is a crown, really? Or am I just really lucky?! I had a root canal on a back molar at least 15 years ago. I was supposed to return for the crown , but I couldn’t afford it so I just never went back. I haven’t had a single problem with my uncrowned tooth.
  3. I’m so sorry, Tiggy. She sounds like a lovely person. Losing someone you love at a young age is so very difficult.
  4. My husband used cinnamon instead of cumin in our homemade enchilada recipe once. It wasn’t bad, but it was definitely different.
  5. I think there is a strong possibility that this is not true. I think Texas has an addiction and the only way to stop is with strategies used to treat addiction.
  6. I’m glad you’re being taken care of. Keeping you in my thoughts. *hugs*
  7. I am so sorry. You will be in my thoughts as you navigate this impossible time.
  8. Signing my daughter up for horseback riding lessons. We started once per week, but we love it there so much that she now rides twice a week and we volunteer with the attached horse rescue. I was very depressed before we started this adventure, but horses have truly changed my life. They are my therapy. They are better than any antidepressant, and any time I am struggling I spend extra time at the farm and magically feel better.
  9. This. This is me exactly. But I don’t stick to superficial topics; that does sound more like someone who doesn’t consider you a good friend but an acquaintance they enjoy spending time with but wouldn’t miss terribly if you disappeared from their life. 😞
  10. Buffalo, the city of good neighbors. There are stories like this all over our news. ❤️
  11. I’m totally copying this tradition as soon as my youngest finds out it’s us filling her stocking every year!
  12. No power outages here. They lost it briefly in a few areas, but got it back on very quickly. This much snow piled up is pretty normal for winter here, it’s just that it all happened in 48 hours instead of 4” here and 6” there. And it is heavy stuff! Thankfully my husband bought a truck last fall and put a small plow on it this year. I don’t know what we would have done if it all had to be shoveled by hand. And I have a 17yo son who kept the fire hydrant clear.
