    So, Slache cannot start a Christians Only thread because ........ Fill in all the reasons, and then wonder why people want to know if there is another Christian board. I don't think I've ever started a This-Religion-Only thread, and I'm not sure if I participated in any but I can see WHY someone might want to.

    I actually only remember reading your first and second lines and my "indeed" applies specifically to the second. I am not sure why you wrote the third line. But those left are unsafe in the Lord of the Flies sense, that the only ones on the island will turn on each other. so there's that.

    It's kind of reminds me of when my youngest was little...he'd get in the pool and yell, "Don't get me wet!" He meant, "Don't splash water in my face!" But unless you spoke his language, it was really unclear and illogical.

    Neither group owes anybody anything. Safer place people don't have to stay and Non-echo chamber people don't have to make it safer.

    IMO, it seems like the people who don't want an echo chamber aren't listening to the people who want a safer place. It's like a relationship...you can't force anyone to stay. I think it is too bad that people who didn't want PMs about the other board contributed to the other thread devolving. Why couldn't it just BE?

    That reminds of a little magazine blurb* about funny things kids say... a coach was writing out a lineup and used a piece of carbon paper so he had an extra copy. A girl watched him and asked what it was. He explained and her response was something like: *if that stuff catches on, we won't need copiers any more.* :lol: *one of those reader's digest joke/funny stuff sections...

    I think the man is lucky he didn't try the barking stunt with the wrong dog. I know a few stories where a person barked at a dog and the dog lunged and bit the person. I'd report this to a nonemergency number. It's odd behavior.
