My girls just got their casting calls for Winnie the Pooh Christmas - Shannon is Kanga, and Morgan is Piglet, one of the principle parts. So proud of them both, especially my little one who gets to step out of her sister's shadow into the spotlight!

The Hobbit opens tonight, with my beautiful girl featured as the Elf Queen. Yes, I know there was no Elf Queen in the book. Or the movies. But in the play, there is an Elf Queen, and she's it! Break a leg, honey.

I just ordered graduation announcements for ds, now I'm going to distract myself so I don't cry.

My beautiful, wonderful girl is 12 today. I can hardly believe it. My life is so enriched by her presence. I love you Shannon!

I tested out of all the developmental classes at my college today. I was so nervous about the math test, but I made it! :happy dance:

My oldest son is graduating from high school tonight. Wooohooo!
